When Kohli Flick and Katie McDonough started a pop-up shop inside Woodberry Kitchen in 2010, the new maker movement was gaining traction. In fact, Kohli was a maker herself, crafting jewelry and small leather goods. Now, she’s opened her first brick and mortar, marking her transition from full-time maker to full-time shop owner. Her shop Becket Hitch not only showcases her well-developed eye for design—and seriously good taste—it also features her passion for the makers and the stories behind their products.
