When we began thinking about the people whose stories we wanted to share on South of Brooklyn, Andrea Pippins was one of the first. So we booked her for the shoot before we even had the site developed fully. I guess she had faith we’d do her justice. I hope you think she was right.
Andrea had recently experienced a creative process I think a lot of us go through—Jen and I certainly have. During the interview her very personal experience flowed out of her and into the universe for all you lucky people to hear. We hope it does you some good to see someone so supremely talented coming to terms with exactly what she’s always been—an artist.
